I have posted the entire 2006 article "Unhappy Endings" (Coleman Warner, Times-Picayune) about the Road Home Program with my comments bringing it up to 2010 at our new blog link:

Put LRA Action Amendment 43 in the subject 
   
Please ask that: 
All the remaining Road Home funds should be used for forgivable loans so as to not burden applicants with additional debt, especially because many of these applicants were shortchanged on their grants. 
It is also unfair to channel applicants' payback money from these federal disaster funds to the Louisiana State coffers without its funding being restricted in the Action Plan Amendment to Road Home applicants. 
  
  If you like, write a sentence or two (or more) about fairness and consistency in the Road Home Program.
