Items on the agenda for the LRA Board Meeting tomorrow in BR include contaminated dry wall and possibly the issue of applicants who have not repaired/rebuilt in time to fill the covenant.
 
Any member of the public may speak for 3 minutes even if you come late to the meeting.
 
Ask the Sergeant-at-Arms (or any official-looking person who he is) for a public comment card.

Louisiana Recovery Authority Board of Directors Meets Thursday in Baton Rouge
Vote Scheduled on Contaminated Drywall Action Plan
BATON ROUGE, La. - The board of the Louisiana Recovery Authority will meet Thursday, November 12, with a vote scheduled on final approval for allocating $5 million to assist Road Home applicants who have contaminated drywall in their rebuilt homes.
In addition, the board will hear from the Beacon of Hope Resource Center and the Louisiana Military Hall of Fame Museum.

Created in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita in 2005, the Louisiana Recovery Authority (LRA) is the coordinating and planning body leading the most extensive rebuilding effort in American history. The central point for hurricane recovery in Louisiana, the LRA works closely with the Governor's Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (GOHSEP) and partners with state and federal agencies to oversee more than $20 billion worth of programs, speed the pace of rebuilding, remove hurdles and red tape and ensure that Louisiana recovers safer and stronger than before.
